So, instead of posting updates or promotions, it’s best to publish valuable content instead. For example, if you run a fashion e-commerce store, you could post tips on how to dress for different occasions or share interviews with style experts who can teach people how to pick outfits for all kinds of events.

Taking the time to reply to your audience will help grow your online community because of the engagement and activity it sustains. 5. Collaborate With Influencers

Many influencers are open to collaborating with other content creators. Partnering with successful influencers can help you tap into a wider audience who may become part of your online community. If you’re running a business, promoting your product through an influencer can be a very huge boost.

Influencers can either be bloggers, journalists, or celebrities with a highly active presence on social media platforms. For this strategy to work, you have to select an influencer who matches your niche. For example, if you are in the fashion industry, then it would make sense to collaborate with a local fashion icon who can bring more attention to your website or brand.

There are many types of influencers out there. Some may not have a huge following compared to celebrities or lifestyle vloggers but if their niche is similar to yours, then they can still have a huge impact.

A tech vlogger, for example, may have less than a million subscribers but you’ll be assured that these people are genuinely interested in the niche.
